Your city is better by bike!
Our qualified instructors and guides will help you gain and practice the skills to confidently get around by bike or scooter.
Wether you want to get more confident riding on bike only paths, or most roads in your city, we have a programme for you.
Our Riding With Confidence Model
To stay safe whilst riding you need to stop you, and another vehicle coming together on a road at the same time and place! There are four strategies to master that will keep your bike and other vehicles separate whilst riding in our towns and cities. They are the key to the Riding With Confidence Model that we use in all of our programmes.
Anyone can learn to ride with confidence!
Riding for transport is as important for life, as reading and writing. Philp Darnton - Chairman of the Bicycle Association of Great Britain - said it best, “most modern social or environmental problems can be made better by bicycle."
We understand their can be many barriers to using a bike or scooter in our cities, but also know that with the correct knowledge and skills these can be overcome and anyone can learn to ride with confidence.

Schools
Learning to balance on a bike is a right of passage. It opens a world of possibilities for tamariki whether it’s a more independent mode to explore the neighbourhood or a lifetime of active recreation.
-
Businesses
People ride to work, and in some cases for work, for a multitude of reasons… reliable, cheaper, quicker, exercise, environment… whatever works for you. Personally we think it’s more fun.
-
Drivers
Bus and truck drivers are paid professionals and often have to share the road with vulnerable road users, like motorcyclists, bike riders and mobility scooters. We help them see the road from the others point of you.

Instructors
Qualified instructors deliver better experiences for riders, more consistent outcomes for our funders and have the satisfaction of personal development.
We are very grateful for the support and faith of some significant government agencies that believe New Zealanders need sustainable transport choice, and that current levels of riding are very low in New Zealand.
Very often the funding we receive means that the riders we work with do not need to pay for our services.
From time to time we also work with large businesses that wish to grow riding rates amongst their customers and or staff. Contact us if you want to explore some ideas.
