We would like to help bring bikes and scooters to life in our cites. They provide a fast, enjoyable and clean way of getting around.
We run a suite of lessons, guided rides and bike maintenance events, on behalf of local authorities, like Auckland Transport, and large businesses. We enjoy working with both electric or push bikes and scooters. We are excited to inspire both adults and children to ride more often.
We started in Auckland 2007 with German bike share technology, from Nextbike GmbH. Over the years we have evolved into a team of 14 educators, instructors and guides. We regularly run events in most corners of New Zealand.
Our team use bikes and scooters as their main mode or transport in the city, and enjoy sharing this knowledge. They are qualified cycle skills instructors and assessors and work from the BikeReady | Waka Kotahi curriculum and Skills Active | Te Mahi Ako NZQA framework

Our Riding With Confidence Model
To stay safe whilst riding you need to stop you, and another vehicle coming together on a road at the same time and place! There are four strategies to master that will keep your bike and other vehicles separate whilst riding in our towns and cities. They are the key to the Riding With Confidence Model that we use in all of our programmes.
We have developed this model through continuous reflection and feedback over 12 years of events to get people riding.
